The National Bank of Ukraine has simplified currency restrictions for carriers. The National Bank of Ukraine has revised the limits for payment of the hryvnia by payment cards abroad for international carriers. Current state on August 5, 2022 The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine lifted a number of currency restrictions, supporting the activities of volunteers and entrepreneurs.
Thanks to this decision, volunteers and activists can purchase as many military goods as possible, including armor, murals, shoes, protective clothing, drones, etc. For their part, they must provide either confirmation of cooperation with military units or a letter from a government agency if the transaction amount exceeds the equivalent of 400 thousand hryvnia per month. Organizations must also inform the bank about the collection of funds for payment for goods, the approximate cost and conditions for the execution of the order.
Volunteer account transactions must also be “typical” for that individual and must exceed UAH 100,000 (equivalent) per month by July 21, 2022. In case of detection of information about the unfair activities of the individual, the bank may refuse to conduct transactions in the amount of more than 100,000 UAH.
In addition, the NBU has reduced restrictions on entrepreneurial activity. Now banks have the opportunity to sell foreign currency to legal entities and individuals with crediting to the client's current account for its further use - incuring expenditures using corporate payment cards abroad
t is allowed to allocate funds for business trips of employees to different countries to covereither daily expenses or accommodation and transportation costs, together with documentary evidence of calculation per person. Daily limit - 80 EUR equivalent per employee. Incuring expenditures abroad within the limit of UAH 100,000 does not apply to persons carrying goods in international traffic on the basis of relevant permits.
